Key Responsibilities include:

Patient Reception:

  • Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and empathetic demeanour
  • Triage appointments utilising the clinical system
  • Manage online, telephone and face-to-face queries

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in maintaining and organising patient records
  • This may include everything from scanning and coding to managing flu days

Office Maintenance:

  • Help with general office organisation and tidiness

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with medical staff and fellow administrative team members to ensure the efficient flow of operations
  • You will work alongside other receptionist and admin staff and will have regular meetings

Working rotas are sent out weekly.

Abbey Field Medical Centre will be the main base of your working week. Travel to other Surgeries will be required time to time due to holiday cover or sickness cover.
