  • Prepare tools, materials and equipment
  • Help set up and secure the work area
  • Measure and cut roofing materials
  • Install tiles, slates and roofing materials
  • Repair and replace damaged roofing
  • Fit roof insulation and underlay
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy
  • Follow health and safety procedures
  • Work alongside experienced roofers
  • Attend training and complete apprenticeship work
