- Working with young people aged between 4 and 11 years
- Supporting a teacher in various roles within the classroom
- Supporting young people with their learning
- Supporting young people with specific education needs (SEND), including running intervention groups
- Be involved in creating displays and preparing resources
- Understand the safeguarding and behaviour policy and their role within these policies
- Ability to always conduct yourself in a professional manner whilst working in schools
- An eagerness to learn more about becoming a Teaching Assistant
- A passion for working with children
- Relevant personal qualities including patience and communication
- Ability to always show professionalism
- Ability to listen and learn from more experienced staff
