  • The job entails receiving information on customer material requirements and subsequently processing the material
    according to our Quality Procedures
  • Main duties include operating a variety of cutting machinery, including band saws, guillotines and decoilers
  • To move material use of overhead cranes and fork trucks will be required (we will provide training)
  • In addition the job will require a certain level of physical exertion as steel will need to be manually handled at times and is
    heavy
  • Referring to quality procedures will be required and quality checks will need to be implemented at all parts of the process
  • This ensures all staff work to the same standards and improvements can be quickly and uniformly implemented

  • Working towards Supply chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Training will take place at employers site

  • Progression into a full time role upon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate
