As an Accounts Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced accountants and learn a wide range of skills, including:

  • Preparing accounts and financial records
  • Bookkeeping and data entry
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Using accounting software
  • Supporting clients with day-to-day queries
  • General administrative duties
  • Developing an understanding of tax and accounting principles
  • Full training towards AAT levels and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship

Your training

  • Accounts or finance Assistant (level 2) Apprenticeship Standard
  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
  • You will attend training provided by Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber Training once a week, Commerce House, 123 St Nicholas Street, Radford, CV1 4FD
