Reception & Front of House

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming reception experience and organised front-of house presence
  • Answer and direct incoming calls via Microsoft Teams, escalating or passing messages appropriately
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting rooms, including basic setup, refreshments, and post-meeting tidy-up
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing post distribution throughout the day
  • Help monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies (e.g. milk, fruit, stationery), reporting shortages as needed
  • Support the Building Maintenance Partner or Facilities Supervisor with simple facilities and maintenance requests, escalating issues appropriately
  • Assist in keeping storage areas and shared spaces organised, safe, and tidy

Administrative & PA Team Support

  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Personal Assistant supporting the Staff & Training Partner across a range of day-to-day HR and people-related matters
  • Support the administration of the employee lifecycle, including new starter documentation, onboarding, changes to employee details, and leaver administration
  • Assist with monitoring key HR dates and processes, such as probation periods, training requirements, appraisals, qualifications and other employee-related deadlines
  • Assist with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews, drafting communications to candidates, and assisting with pre-employment checks
  • Support the administration of staff training and professional development, including maintaining training records and coordinating external training arrangements
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately, maintaining a high level of discretion and understanding the importance of data protection and confidentiality
  • Support with general administrative tasks across the Firm as required, including collating accounting packs, drafting correspondence, assisting with AMLR searches and packs, and processing internal timesheets and expense claims

  • Take part fully in the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship programme, applying learning to day-to-day tasks
  • Develop strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills through practical experience
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks completed, learning progress, and administrative activities when required
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback positively
  • Uphold the firm’s professional standards, Ethos, and office culture at all times

Your training

To meet the requirements of the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme, you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:

  • Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events
  • 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager
  • Observing and shadowing colleagues
  • Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
