  • Assisting service and repair & planned maintenance of air conditioning systems
  • Cleaning casings
  • Cleaning filters
  • Shadowing experienced engineers to learn the role
  • Replacing pumps (once trained and capable)
  • Replacing parts (once trained and capable)
  • Completing paperwork and keeping job records up to date
  • Following health and safety procedures on site

Your training

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
  • At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Where it leads

  • Subject to competence and performance, the apprentice will have a clear pathway to progress into a Junior Service Engineer
