The successful candidate will shadow a skilled CAD technician and benefit from their many years of skill and expertise and will work towards being able to (but not limited to):

  • Make use of CAD programmes such as Tekla, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
  • Create 3D models of Engineered assemblies
  • Create 2D drawings for use in a production environment
  • Working to strict drawing standards
  • Working in a professional environment

Your training

  • Train at the workplace
  • Attend NSEGTA 151 - 153 Marsh Street North, Hanley, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST1 5HR - 1 day a week for 7.5 hours
