You’ll carry out diagnostic, installation, and maintenance electrical tasks with growing independence, following strict safety protocols. Working alongside repairs teams and subcontractors, you’ll manage stock levels, complete Portable Appliance Testing, and use electronic systems to track your work. Your role includes a 4-year NVQ apprenticeship at Lancaster & Morecambe College, with 20% of your time dedicated to study.

Training will take place on site and also at Lancaster and Morecambe College.

Where it leads

On completion of the apprenticeship the post holder will be considered for a permanent Electrician role.
