  • You will work as part of a small team, learning all aspects involved in the installation of hard landscaping projects including modular and slab paving, walling, fencing, groundworks and drainage
  • Installations cover working with a wide range of hard landscaping materials and paving products
  • The physical work is a demanding mixture of lifting, carrying, digging, moving, measuring etc.
  • Working outdoors in all weathers

Your training

  • An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
  • You will be expected to work towards the Groundworker Level 2 qualification, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
  • Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

Where it leads

May lead on to a full time job after the apprenticeship is completed.

Things to consider

Must be able to travel to Swanwick address for 7.30am every morning or to independently travel to work locations across Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire, for the 8.00am start.
