Duties can include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting, and directing patients.
  • Taking telephone enquiries.
  • Effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.
  • Act as the central point of contact for patients.
  • Distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team.
  • Patient registration.
  • Processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner and in accordance with current policies.

Your training

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 2 Administration qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures
  • Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7 and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you
  • You receive 20% off-the-job training during this apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours

Where it leads

  • If successful in completing this apprenticeship, there would be progression into business administration as the role develops.

Over the years we have successfully developed our premises at Red House to accommodate the expanding clinics and the recruitment of trained clinical staff.
