What You’ll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Resourcer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advertising vacancies on recruitment platforms.
  • Reviewing and screening CVs and applications.
  • Contacting candidates and arranging interviews.
  • Assisting with conducting interviews.
  • Managing application forms and candidate records.
  • Completing and monitoring pre-employment checks, including
  • references, DBS checks, training and right-to-work/visa checks.
  • Keeping recruitment and compliance records accurate and up to date.
  • Preparing and sending employment contracts and onboarding documents.
  • Sending onboarding emails and following up to ensure paperwork is completed and signed.
  • Setting up new employees on Rota Cloud.
  • Carrying out regular audits of compliance spreadsheets.
  • Completing weekly checks of the staff training matrix.
  • Updating live recruitment, staff and training spreadsheets each week.
  • Monitoring staff visa dates and following up where required.
  • Sending details of DBS applications to the relevant person for processing.
  • Attending weekly recruitment meetings with your manager.
  • Attending monthly staffing meetings to discuss staffing requirements and packages.
  • Liaising with managers regarding recruitment and staffing needs.
  • Providing managers with regular weekly recruitment updates.
  • Supporting the wider team with general recruitment and HR administration.

  • Interested in building a career in recruitment, HR or staffing.

Your training

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Recruiter qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures.
  • Our training is all completed remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support, and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you.
  • Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the occupational standard which is included in your weekly working hours.
