  • Manage a database of past BFI Film Academy participants and help re-engage alumni from across the Northwest
  • Coordinate online and in-person workshops and training that build young people's skills and offer screen sector careers advice
  • Coordinate mixers and networking events, working with teams across HOME and with external screen industry partners
  • Find shadowing opportunities on film productions across the region, arrange placements and check that host companies meet safeguarding and health and safety standards
  • Offer guidance, mentoring and pastoral support to alumni aged 16 to 25 as they navigate early career pathways
  • Support the delivery of BFI Film Academy introductory courses and a year-round programme of activity across the region
  • Support careers talks and taster sessions, with a focus on reaching underrepresented communities
  • Keep accurate records, collect data, report on KPIs and track participant progression for BFI reporting
  • Write copy and provide content for social media and the website, working with HOME's Marketing and Communications team

Your training

  • Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training

  • Identify, track and support 6 hours off-the-job training activities
  • Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps
