The successful apprentice will:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers with enquiries
  • Respond to customer emails and process orders accurately
  • Prepare reports and invoices when required
  • Maintain training records and learner documentation
  • Produce training certificates for clients worldwide
  • Support the coordination of training activities across the business
  • Assist with updating and maintaining online training courses
  • Support the Online Training Manager with administrative duties.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation where required for training activities
  • Carry out general office administration tasks including printing, filing and document preparation
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Aviation Training Department

Your training

The apprentice will work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Training will be delivered by Hull College through a mixture of workplace learning, one-to-one reviews and apprenticeship workshops, allowing the apprentice to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a successful career in business administration.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent position within Bostonair Group and further progression opportunities within administration, training coordination, customer service or wider business support functions.

Bostonair Group provides aviation recruitment, aircraft maintenance and technical training services to clients across the aviation industry worldwide. With offices in the UK and Germany, they support airlines, maintenance organisations and aviation professionals through training, recruitment and operational services. The successful apprentice will join their Aviation Training Department based at Norwood House in Beverley.

Things to consider

Applicants should have GCSE maths and English at Grade 5/Level 5 or above.

No previous experience is required, although experience in an office environment would be an advantage.
