The apprentice will support the efficient running of Honeycomb Care’s administrative and staff-onboarding functions. Working under supervision, their duties will include:
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding by requesting application forms, identification documents, references and other required information
- Updating onboarding trackers and monitoring outstanding DBS, right-to-work, training and employment-check requirements
- Creating, organising and maintaining accurate electronic and paper staff records
- Responding professionally to telephone calls, emails and general enquiries from applicants, employees and external professionals
- Preparing letters, emails, spreadsheets, meeting notes and routine management reports
- Helping to coordinate staff induction, mandatory training, competency assessments and renewal reminders
- Scheduling interviews, meetings, supervisions and other appointments
- Entering and checking information on company systems while maintaining confidentiality and data-protection standards
- Supporting audits by locating records, checking files against approved checklists and reporting gaps to the responsible manager
- Assisting the wider management team with general office administration and service-improvement activities

Where it leads
Upon completion the successful candidate would be considered for a permanent position, and may include progressing to recruiting and onboarding administrator, compliance administrator and have the opportunity to work towards a level 4 qualification.
