As a Level 4 Cyber Security Apprentice, you'll gain hands on experience assisting with cyber security monitoring activities, including reviewing alerts, reports and system information under supervision. You will support basic cyber risk and compliance activities, including evidence gathering, documentation updates and follow up of agreed actions.

During security incidents, you will support the Cyber Security team by helping to record information, update logs and follow agreed response processes. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with Cyber Security colleagues and other IT teams to build understanding of the wider technology and risk environment.

Your training

  • A structured training pathway resulting in a Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist apprenticeship via BPP.
  • Professional training covering cyber security concepts, laws and regulations, networking, operating systems, risk assessment, security management systems, security architectures, incident response and service management.
