Main duties will include:

  • Fabrication & welding
  • Different types of metal cutting and drilling
  • Using handheld tools
  • Reading and interpreting drawings
  • Learning and adhering to company's health and safety rules/policies
  • Other general engineering duties

Your training

You will be trained at the place of work by highly skilled and qualified team members in all aspects of the apprentcieship. You will also be visited by a Skills Coach from Hull College who will support and train you through the apprenticeship in all relevant areas. 

Where it leads

For the right candidate, there will be career progression available upon completion of the apprenticeship of further training or a full-time job.
