- Support the team and partners with successful fundraising and digital activities leading to delivering the aims and mission of the charity.
- Meet and communicate with partners, funders and sponsors
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations and relevant digital content that explains our story and impact.
- Research and analyse data to inform services and funding applications
- Engage with service users, hold focus groups and analyse feedback and conduct needs analysis
- Encourage and influence stakeholders to provide financial and non-financial support
- Identify, plan and apply to charitable trusts, funders and other stakeholders
- Identify, plan and organise fund raising events
- Monitor and report on impact, outcomes and progress to stakeholders
- Help promote and share the impact of our work
- Maintain appropriate digital records and meet deadlines
- Follow and adhere to the charity’s policies and procedures.
Your training
You will undertake the Fund raiser Standard apprenticeship (Level 3) which is completed in the workplace. You will study both on and off the job with the support and guidance of a fully qualified apprenticeship coach.

Where it leads
Based on good performance, from the right candidate, we will be looking to develop the apprentice within the charity to progress into a full time fund raising role within the charity.

Foresight is user-led in the provision of facilities and activities to provide a “One-Stop-Shop” service. We currently provide a wide range of learning, training, leisure, sporting and social activities all specifically adapted to meet the needs and requirements of the disability.
Things to consider
The centre is located off Freeman Street in Grimsby with regular bus service. However, the candidate will be required to travel to other centres in North and North East Lincolnshire where the charity has premises.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this role.
