  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general office support

  • File and maintain project and company documentation

  • Assist with steel traceability records from material purchase through to fabrication

  • Support the preparation and completion of Method Statements and Risk Assessments

  • Obtain and maintain material certificates and records for steel purchases

  • Assist with Quality requirements and the completion of Quality Packs for clients

  • Monitor certification and qualification expiry dates and assist with renewals

  • Maintain accurate records relating to Health, Safety and Quality requirements

  • Work with colleagues across the business to ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Quality processes within a construction and steel engineering environment

Your training

  • Level 3 Business Administrator
  • A bespoke programme of technical and vocational training
  • Functional skills in Maths and English (If applicable)

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated work based trainer who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.

This Apprenticeship is delivered wholly in the workplace, the successful candidate will not need to attend any weekly sessions at the Grimsby Institute unless Maths or English is required as part of the Apprenticeship.
