Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and E-commerce:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of our website, ensuring all products are up to date with accurate imagery, descriptions, pricing and specifications
  • Ensure all products and website content are optimised for SEO to improve organic search visibility
  • Responsible for the running and development of our eBay and Amazon platforms - identifying new products, maintaining existing listings and regularly reviewing sales performance and ROI
  • Manage product listings across all e-commerce platforms, including our own website, eBay, Amazon and any future platforms we introduce
  • Work with Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Centre to monitor website traffic, conversions, advertising performance and ROI, making recommendations for improvements
  • Help develop and improve our digital marketing channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X
  • Create and maintain a content plan, producing regular engaging content across our social media channels
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns to existing and prospective customers using Mailchimp or similar platforms
  • Help plan and organise the company's attendance at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events
  • Research new marketing opportunities and identify ways to increase brand awareness and generate new enquiries

Sales and Business Development:

  • Support the sales team with day-to-day sales and business development activities
  • Research and identify potential new customers across our target markets, including businesses, schools, resellers and retailers
  • Use platforms such as LinkedIn, Apollo and other prospecting tools to identify new sales opportunities and build targeted prospect lists
  • Assist with outbound sales campaigns, including email, telephone and LinkedIn outreach
  • Contact prospective customers to introduce our products and services, qualify enquiries and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Follow up on marketing leads, website enquiries and existing customer opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within our CRM system
  • Assist the sales team with quotations, product information and customer follow-ups
  • Develop an understanding of our product range and learn how to identify the right products for different customer requirements
  • Monitor sales activity and help track leads from initial enquiry through to completed sale
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure marketing campaigns generate measurable sales leads and opportunities
  • Help identify opportunities to increase sales to existing customers through additional products, consumables and related services
  • Assist with market and competitor research to identify new products, customers and sales opportunities

Stock, Orders and Administration:

  • Ensure product and stock information is accurate and up to date across our sales channels
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock management
  • Monitor product availability and flag potential stock issues to the relevant team members
  • Process orders received through our e-commerce channels
  • Assist with general sales and marketing administration as required

Your training

  • You will work towards an Advanced Level 3 Multi-channel Marketing apprenticeship, delivered by VQ Solutions
  • You will have a dedicated VQ Mentor and will also be supported internally by your manager
  • During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend workshop sessions and have regular reviews
  • The best part? All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours
