Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including photos, videos, reels, and graphics
  • Write captions and assist in planning and scheduling content
  • Stay updated with social media trends and recommend fresh content ideas
  • Support campaigns that increase brand awareness and audience engagement

Photography & Videography:

  • Capture high-quality product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes photos and videos
  • Edit images and short-form videos for marketing campaigns
  • Maintain an organised library of digital media assets

Digital Marketing:

  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media and online platforms
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to basic customer inquiries when appropriate
  • Support email marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Track campaign performance and prepare simple reports using social media insights and analytics
  • Assist in updating website content and online product listings where required

Merchandise & Creative Development:

  • Brainstorm creative concepts for merchandise, promotional products, and branding initiatives
  • Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitor products
  • Assist with product launches, packaging ideas, and promotional materials

Your training

  • The apprentice will work four days per week at the employers workplace at Nortex Mill, 105 Chorley Old Rd, Bolton BL1 3AS, and attend Bolton College (BL3 1ES) for one day per week (6 hours)

Where it leads

  • The successful applicant my be able to progress to a higher level apprenticeship or full time employment with the company
