As a Sales and Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will support both the sales and marketing functions of the business whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Your duties will include:

  • Creating engaging content for social media platforms, websites and marketing campaigns
  • Producing photography, video and promotional content to showcase products, services and company activities
  • Supporting the promotion of new products, special offers and seasonal campaigns
  • Assisting with social media management and content scheduling
  • Monitoring engagement and reporting on digital marketing activity
  • Supporting the sales team with customer communications and account management
  • Contacting existing customers to discuss products, promotions and special offers
  • Developing relationships with customers and helping to maintain excellent levels of service
  • Assisting with identifying and contacting prospective new customers
  • Updating and maintaining customer information within the CRM system
  • Taking customer enquiries and directing requests to the appropriate department
  • Supporting market research and competitor analysis activities
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns aimed at increasing customer engagement and sales growth
  • Learning about product ranges and helping communicate key information to customers
  • Working closely with experienced colleagues across the business to develop your commercial and digital marketing skills

Your training

The apprentice will work towards the Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship standard.

Training will be delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular training sessions with Hull College.

You will develop knowledge and skills in:

  • Content planning and creation
  • Photography and video production
  • Social media marketing
  • Brand promotion and audience engagement
  • Digital marketing principles
  • Content editing and publishing
  • Data and performance analysis
  • Professional communication
  • Customer relationship management
  • Business development and sales support

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent sales, marketing, business development or account management position within the company.
