Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals within their own homes and in the community
  • Providing personal care while maintaining dignity, privacy and respect
  • Supporting with day-to-day activities and promoting independence
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and accessing the community
  • Providing emotional and practical support
  • Supporting individuals with complex and / or clinical care needs following appropriate training
  • Supporting with medication in line with training and care plans
  • Following individual care and risk management plans
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
  • Working alongside families, healthcare professionals and the wider care team

Your training

All apprenticeship training will be delivered remotely by eTraining. You will take part in scheduled online training sessions and complete apprenticeship activities within the workplace. A full training schedule, including session dates and frequency will be provided once you commence your apprenticeship. You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection.

Where it leads

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to progress into a permanent, full-time role with Arch Futures. You will also have the chance to continue developing your skills, take on additional responsibilities and build a rewarding long-term career in adult social care.

Things to consider

This is a FIELD-BASED CARE position. You will not be working from our King Street Head Office on a day-to-day basis. You will be travelling to individuals' homes and care settings to provide direct support. You will need to be 18+ and have access to a vehicle. 

Applicants must also be comfortable providing personal care and working flexible hours according to the needs of the service.

No sponsorship is available for this position. Applicants must already have the appropriate Right to Work in the UK.
