- Support the planning and delivery of Liverpool Chamber’s events programme, working closely with the Events Manager to help deliver a competitive and engaging range of events that provides value to members and the wider business community.
- Assist with the coordination and operational delivery of events, supporting event logistics, venues, suppliers, delegates, speakers and event materials to ensure every detail is planned and delivered to a high standard.
- Provide an excellent experience for attendees, acting as a welcoming and professional point of contact before, during and after events and supporting members, guests, speakers and partners throughout their experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Chamber, particularly the Membership, Marketing and International teams, to support events that contribute to wider business objectives, engagement activity and member needs.
- Support the promotion and communication of events, working with the Marketing team to ensure event information is accurate, engaging and communicated effectively to relevant audiences.
- Maintain accurate event information and records, supporting delegate lists, bookings, event communications, budgets and post-event feedback, while ensuring information is kept up to date and organised. Our event contacts are managed through our CRM system, and the person in this role will be expected to keep them up to date and accurate.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help enhance the events programme and member experience, developing an understanding of the local business community and the role Liverpool Chamber plays within the wider business ecosystem.
Your training
Online learning which will happen once per month, for roughly 1-2 hours per session, with the tutor assigned by Access Industry, along with on the job learning from your employer.
There will also be a requirement of 'off the job learning' granted from the employer.
Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard.
