- Use initiative and be proactive.
- Provide technical support via a helpdesk ticketing system, remotely, face to face and over the phone.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems.
- Take a structured and logical approach to ensure accuracy.
- Building strong relationships with our customers to ensure high levels of service.
- Assist in the deployment of mobile devices whilst maintaining the college asset register and paper trails.
- Help maintain inventory records of hardware and software, updating these records and adhering to department process to keep all systems in sync.
- Assist with the smooth running of ICT equipment on corporate days and evenings.

- Yeovil College delivery: Full day delivery onsite (mixture of face to face delivery and self study throughout the day)
Where it leads
- After completing an ICT apprenticeship, you could progress into roles such as IT Support Technician, Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, Cyber Security Technician, or Software Developer, depending on your area of interest.
- With further experience and qualifications, there may be opportunities to move into senior technical positions, specialist roles, team leadership, or IT management. The skills gained during the apprenticeship provide a strong foundation for long-term career development within the fast-paced and ever-evolving technology sector.
