As part of your apprenticeship, you'll learn how to:

  • Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking dishes across our menu
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Follow food safety, allergen and health and safety procedures
  • Help with stock, storage and the everyday jobs that keep the kitchen running smoothly
  • Work as part of the kitchen and restaurant team during service

The right candidate may be appointed a full-time position. 

About Coletta and Tyson Limited

You'll receive hands-on experience in a working kitchen, support and guidance from our experienced team, and training through East Riding College as you work towards your qualification.

You'll also receive staff discount (once eligible), and a share of tips.

Our restaurant is an important part of our independent garden centre, with a friendly team serving our customers throughout the day.
