Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in creating content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and the company website
  • Develop project case studies, news articles, and company updates
  • Support the production of marketing materials, presentations, brochures, and award submissions
  • Monitor and update website content to ensure information remains accurate and engaging
  • Capture and organise project photography, videos, and marketing assets
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and internal communications
  • Support the organisation of company events, exhibitions, careers fairs, and community engagement activities
  • Visit live construction sites
  • Help track marketing performance and prepare basic reports on campaign effectiveness
  • Maintain project information
  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects the company’s brand guidelines and values
  • Assist with social value reporting and analysis

Your training

  • The apprentice will be working towards the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • All delivered within the workplace via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus every other week

Things to consider

  • Our head office is quite remote so own transport is essential
  • Visiting live construction sites across East Anglia will be part of the role, so a clean driving licence is preferable
  • The role will require long periods to be spent working on a computer
