We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Junior/Administrator to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting daily office operations
  • Ensuring smooth communication
  • Maintaining efficient administrative processes

Prior office experience is advantageous, but a keen attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Duties:

  • Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct them appropriately
  • Assist with data entry tasks using Microsoft Office and Sage
  • Organise and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Support the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other documentation
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and invoice processing
  • Support team members with administrative tasks as required to ensure operational efficiency
  • Always maintain a tidy and organised office environment
  • Packaging of orders and order processing

Your training

There is no day release to college, all learning will take place in the workplace. 

You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in the workplace every 6-8 weeks who will support you in your apprenticeship
You may be required to complete maths/English Functional Skills alongside this apprenticeship.

In the workplace there will be inhouse mentoring.

Things to consider

Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software is beneficial but not essential.

This position provides valuable experience in office administration within a supportive team environment in a two-family run manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for organisational tasks and possess the necessary skills to contribute positively to our operations.

Transport – ensure you can get to us each day, B63 3PD.

The 3 days stated - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays are set days.

Work Location: In person.
