  • Assisting with basic plumbing, decorating and repair work.
  • Supporting the upkeep of spa, hotel and facilities.
  • Conducting regular safety and maintenance inspections.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.
  • Responding to maintenance requests from different departments.
  • Assisting with grounds maintenance and general site appearance.

Your training

  • You will attend Stoke on Trent College (Burslem Campus) for 1 day each week for your off the job training. 
  • Dependant on GCSE grades, you may need to complete Maths and/or English Functional Skills.

Things to consider

This is a physically active role that involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may involve lifting and carrying equipment, using tools and working around guests in a busy hospitality environment.
