Duties:

  • Represent MET professionally, in person & across social media networks where applicable
  • Conduct a variety of administrative tasks as necessary – this could include preparing CV’s, typing advertisements, uploading adverts to jobs boards & vetting CV’s
  • Contact potential candidates over the phone to assess their suitability for the rol
  • Always striving to build strong relationships with candidates, clients, & colleagues
  • Approach your training with enthusiasm & engaging with the process
  • Follow the advice of your peers throughout the training period
  • Be thorough in your approach to your work
  • Ensure all written work is correct in respect of spelling, grammar & punctuation
  • Keep all data handled within your place of work confidential at all times, observing the general rules of GDPR.

    ***Driving licence required, or applicants must be actively learning to drive***

Your training

Teaching and developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to become a competent Recruiter will take place entirely in the workplace, with no need for day release. One-to-one tutoring sessions will be provided by a dedicated tutor, who will design a bespoke curriculum plan tailored to your strengths and areas for development.

Where it leads

With experience and the right training, you can progress to Consultant, Senior Consultant or Recruitment Manager roles. There are also opportunities to specialise in a recruitment sector, develop sales expertise or progress into leadership positions.

Things to consider

Your training will span across a 3 – 6-month period. It will consist of a mixture of classroom-based sessions as well as on the job training. During this period, we ask that you absorb all the information you are given, take notes and ask questions. During this period, a senior member of the MET team will also coach / mentor you.
